On July 14th, 2023, intouch|Live, along with our grand sponsor, Pondurance, hosted the 2nd Annual NYC Cyber Symposium & Mets' Game. Quickly becoming the hallmark of intouch|Live, this event blended morning conferences with business development and networking opportunities. After an afternoon full of education and fun, attendees relaxed and watched two of the top teams in the MLB as the LA Dodgers took on the NY Mets. intouch|Live prided itself on bringing top industry partners in Cyber Incident Response, Compliance, Remediation, and Cyber Insurance through its clients and connections within the industry.

Attendees had the chance to sharpen their IT/Cyber knowledge while enjoying a unique and memorable experience.

The event emphasized the growing risks of cyber threats, debunking the misconception that only large corporations are at risk for hacks. Data breach incidents and cyberattacks targeting big, household-name corporations were making headlines on a weekly basis. However, more and more frequently, cyber events such as ransomware attacks and data theft were targeting hospitals, attorneys, educational institutions, and small and medium-sized businesses of all types.

The event highlighted how the changing nature of cyberattacks had come into focus, revealing that businesses handling and storing sensitive data were increasingly at risk for breaches. Attendees learned that a strong cybersecurity strategy could minimize a company’s exposure, enhance organizational efficiency, and provide peace of mind. The intouch|Live Cyber Security & Data Privacy Symposium prepared businesses to protect their operations and their customers.
